Complementary and alternative medicine (CAM) is a category of medicine that falls outside the realm of traditional western medicine. Types of CAM may include acupuncture, natural products, and meditation, among others. The central focus of this paper will be to assess current Physician Assistants (PA) students attending the GVSU’s PA program and examine the perceptions of CAM as well as CAM education.
