This project is focused on the use of online video in creating awareness for LGBTQ+ inclusivity. In particular, it focuses on California Polytechnic State University San Luis Obispo, hereafter referred to simply as "Cal Poly," and the campus climate's effect on the LGBTQ+ student community. It aims to give a brief recap of Cal Poly's history in relation to its queer population, highlight the experiences of present-day students, assess what progress has been made, and provide a snapshot of the campus climate in 2016 to be used as a drawing point for future senior projects and evaluation of inclusivity progress. …
