The Impact Of Administrative Discipline On Improving Quality Of School Performance, آمنة عبابنة

Jerash for Research and Studies Journal مجلة جرش للبحوث والدراسات

The main objective of this study is to clarify the role played by the school administration in improving quality within Jordanian schools, and how effective leadership standards are achieved. The role of the school administration in it depends on translating the objectives of the educational systems (legislated by the Ministry of Education), through their performance within the school, in a desire to improve all educational services provided to all students at different levels of study …

Walden Dissertations and Doctoral Studies

The Coronavirus 19 (COVID-19) pandemic had a significant impact on post-secondary education in the United States with much of the focus during the height of the pandemic being on students and their instruction. Little attention has been paid to the experiences of supervisors in higher education, specifically, the lived experiences of supervisors and the factors that impacted supervisors leading hybrid and remote teams. With a phenomenological framework in the periphery, the purpose of this study was to explore the lived experiences that supervisors of staff within higher education had after transitioning to either a hybrid or fully remote work model. …

Influencers Of Resident Attitudes Towards Tourism: The Shortfall In Our Assessment Methods, Christopher S. Dutt

Journal of Global Hospitality and Tourism

The study of residents’ perceptions and attitudes towards tourism has received considerable interest over the years. While much agreement has been found, there are also several areas of disagreement and noteworthy gaps that affect our understanding of residents’ attitudes toward tourism. This discussion reviews some of the existing findings of past studies, before considering some of the significant gaps. These include the dominance of social exchange theory (SET) as the principal model, the lack of distinction between tourists and tourism, and the impact of tourist typologies on perceptions of tourism.

The project involved working directly with three organisations (grantees) in receipts of EOL funds, across five GPE countries. Antioch University Dissertations & Theses

This dissertation connects the recent DEIB movement within organizations to larger social justice movements, specifically those that impact workers and the workplace. Critical human resource development (CHRD) professionals, who serve as “insider activists”, are highlighted due to their work to continue movement objectives within organizations. Through testimonios and critical platicas, this study explores how Black and Latino/x LGBTQ+ CHRD professionals, in particular, are experiencing the workplace, especially as it relates to their engagement with how DEIB is practiced within organizations. Through this study, these professionals provide insights into the ways that workplaces can be redesigned and reimagined to be …
