This article argues despite opportunities to learn valuable strategic lessons from Denmark’s effort in the Afghanistan War (2001–14), Danish civil authorities implemented a comprehensive approach policy that failed to establish a bridge to lessons learned by the military. Denmark’s experience in the Afghanistan War demonstrates promises and perils of lessons learned processes.

Penelitian ini ingin mengkaji peranan tagar (#) dalam mobilisasi dukungan opini digital. Apakah tagar (#) yang berbeda bisa menciptakan mobilisasi yang berbeda. Teori yang dipergunakan adalah Gerakan Opini Digital (Digital Movement of Opinion / DMO), yaknu sebuah aktivisme digital yang ditandai oleh adanya reaksi yang spontan dan tidak terorganisir dari pengguna media sosial. Kasus yang diteliti adalah pertarungan antara tagar #BubarkanKPAI vs #KamiBersamaKPAI. Metode yang dipakai adalah Analisis Jaringan Sosial (Social Network Analysis/SNA). Scientists are frequently asked to broadly share their expertise and research with a variety of audiences, beyond typical academic circles in their home disciplines. That could include developing community engagement programs, school outreach, leveraging online social networks, and other activities. Introduction: Framing is an important aspect of the policy process that helps the public and decision makers sort through and resolve highly charged claims about an issue. Through slight changes in the presentation of issues, a framing effect may alter public support. The way a proposed sugary drink tax is discussed in public discourse and by the media significantly influences policy acceptance. Given the public health significance of obesity and diabetes in West Virginia (WV) the study of media frames employed to represent a sugary drink tax policy is useful.

In late 2011, Occupy Wall Street (OWS) grabbed the attention of American mass media. Media coverage on the anti-capitalist movement was mixed, some was positive and the majority was negative. Using Robert Entman’s framing theory, this paper provides a framing analysis of the OWS movement from mass media and occupiers’ media. Content analysis of news articles published by three different media platforms demonstrates that media framing of the OWS by both mass and occupiers’ media differs in terms of reporting and news focus. This article aims to reveal the social network of an anticorruption movement via social media by showing the key actors, exchange of messages, and dynamics of the inter-temporal communication network. The anticorruption movement seems to be developing in line with increasing public awareness and the support of information and communications technology.
