On Jeju Island, there are many freshwater springs because it is a volcanic island with abundant precipitation and rainwater. While springs were once plentiful in the island, due to depletion and urbanization pressures, many of the traditional wood and rock structures and spaces surrounding springs have become severely deteriorated. Until the 1970s springs served as vital community resources for water provisioning for drinking and household use, agriculture and livestock. The last two decades have seen the emergence of not just new markets but new market spaces that provide a visual experience of products and persons that closely approximates the field set up by the global media. Malls represent the concrete representations of unabashed celebration and acknowledgment of desire. The objective of this paper is to assess the efficacy of housing mortgages and the current mortgage refinancing company at addressing the housing deficit in Nigeria. This paper would be structured ' thus: section I is the introduction, while section 2 looks of housing provision and policy in Nigeria. Existing housing finance options in Nigeria are discussed in section 3 and the need for mortgage refinancing in Nigeria in section 4. Challenges of mortgage refinancing in Nigeria are examined in section 5, while the conclusion and recommendations are presented in section 6.

Stereotypes and beliefs about women have often kept them from equality with men. What is more striking is that women perpetuate the stereotypes and beliefs as much as men and society as a whole. This literature review focuses on three areas in a woman’s background that influence her ability to lead: a) triggers that propel her into a leadership position, b) the “intersectionalities” or multiple identities and personalities a woman must have to be an effective leader, and c) how the context of where she leads affects her leadership behavior.
