This paper examines the factors constraining the growth of non-oil exports with a view to suggesting solution to redress the situation. In order to execute the task effectively, the rest of the paper is divided into four parts. Part two provides the macroeconomic background to export trade in Nigeria and reviews external trade policies that have been put in place by government.
