Modern information technology has led to significant changes in how libraries operate. This study examined how library services are provided in the age of the internet at Mountain Top University Library. It adopted a descriptive survey method, and 200 participants were chosen at random for the study. A structured questionnaire was used to collect data from the sampled population. Data analysis was done using SPSS, and the results were presented in a percentage and frequency table. The paper examined utilization of cloud computing and its relationship on the academic performance of final year students of the Federal University of Technology, Owerri. A 4-point Lickert scale of Strongly Agree; Agree; Disagree; Strongly Disagree was used to obtain responses from the 285 sample respondents. The result shows that majority of 206(72%) out of 285 utilizes cloud computing for e-mail and other social media platform. Following in descending order, 96(33.6%) for University portal; 95(33.3%) for e-learning; 88(30.9%) for digital archiving; 88(30.9%) for research application; 87(30.5%) use it to search online database; 85(29.8%) for online file storage. The main aim of this research is to evaluate the attitude of university students' towards Information Technology (IT) and to identify whether their attitude plays any significant role in contributing digital divide among them. The study used quantitative research design and administered a pre-validated questionnaire to a sample of 644 postgraduate students selected with stratified random sampling. This study reports that about one third of the students fall under the high level attitude towards IT, while just above two thirds of them came under the medium level attitude. Purpose- The aim of this study is to prioritize the key factors influencing the adoption of Cloud Computing Technology in the Medical Sciences University libraries.

Demographic Characteristics And Information Technology Competence Skills On The Use Of E-Portal Among Undergraduates In Adeyemi College Of Education, Ondo, Christopher Omotunde, Opeyemi Omotunde

This study investigated the influence of demographic characteristics and information technology competence skills on the use of E-portal among undergraduates in Adeyemi College of Education, Ondo State, Nigeria. The findings revealed a positive significant relationship between IT competence skill and their use of e-portal (r= .190, p<0.05). Gender has a significant influence on the use of e-portal (t=2.071, p<0.05) also, respondents age has a significant influence on use of e-portal (F (3; 246) =2.892; p<0.05). The study concluded that IT competence skills and demographic characteristics of undergraduates have an influence on the use of E-portal. It is recommended that higher institutions of learning in Nigeria should further explore the potentials of E-portal for its teaching, learning and research.
