The study examines the user’s satisfaction level of library sources and services in Sadakathullah Appa College Library (SACLIB), Tirunelveli District, Tamil Nadu. Questionnaire was the instrument for collecting data. 130 copies of questionnaires were distributed, 100 were received. The present study focuses on users regarding library resources, services, physical facilities, internet, etc.

Abstract

The study investigated Users’ perception for quality service delivery in Albert Ilesanmi Ilemobode Library, Federal University of Technology Akure (FUTA). The descriptive survey research design was adopted for the study; the major instrument for generating data collection was the questionnaires. In carrying out the research, a case study research method was adopted while the researchers made use of random sampling techniques. The Sampling size for this research consists of 10% of registered post graduate students of Albert Ilesanmi Ilemobode Library; hence 200 respondents were selected for the study. It is often said that students’ effective learning cannot be acquired through classrooms activities alone, they refer to school library information resources to complement what they have been taught. This paper aims to primarily investigate among faculty the reasons for non use of library services and resources at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, the category of non users and also how to improve usage. Library is considered as an important input needed to implement school programs. In the light of the foregoing, this study examined the perceived influence of library services on students’ academic achievement in secondary schools. Non-probability techniques (stratified, purposive and convenience sampling techniques) were used to select 20 schools and its principals from three senatorial districts in Kwara State. The research design used combined both interview and observational checklist to collect relevant data for the study. Nvivo software (version 10) was used to analyse the data collected. This study investigated provision of effective rural library services for users’ satisfaction in Anambra State. Five research questions guided the study. The descriptive survey design was adopted for the study. The population comprised of thirteen (13) library staff and one hundred and five (105) users of the rural libraries studied. Two instruments comprising of questionnaire and observation checklist were used for the study. Descriptive statistics were used in analyzing data collected.
