DePaul continues to expand its innovative programming and resources for Latinx communities. La DePaulia, an online Spanish-language publication produced by journalism students, is filling a need for news in Chicago's Spanish-speaking community. The Center for Latino Research continues to provide films, lectures, webinars and other programming on Latinx subjects, and is elevating its scholarly publication, Diálogo with expanded content and regional relevance. The DePaul Art Museum has initiated a years-long Latinx Initiative to expand its collections, exhibitions and public programs devoted to Latin American artists, beginning with the "LatinXAmerican" exhibition.

Profiles of four faculty all-stars at DePaul University: Associate Professor Kelly Richmond Pope, a forensic accountant who has made several films capturing accounting fraud, including "All the Queen's Horses"; Research Professor of Law Patty Gerstenblith, who founded DePaul's Center for Art, Museum & Cultural Heritage Law and concerns herself with the problem of cultural heritage looting; psychology professors W. Thanks to the vision and leadership of Vincent de Paul Professor of Biological Sciences Dorothy Kozlowski, who has teamed with scientists and researchers across the country, DePaul is playing an instrumental role in advancing our understanding of the specific causes and e‑ffects of traumatic brain injury (TBI). In collaboration with colleagues at DePaul partner institution Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science, Kozlowski developed a novel animal model to study the connection between repeat concussions and long-term health problems. Ambassador Carmen Lomellin (MBA '84) is a proud advocate for women, children and immigrants. After getting her MBA while working at Inland Steel in Chicago, she worked in a variety of capacities for the City of Chicago. She stumped for Hillary Clinton in her bid for the U.S. presidency and represented the United States under President Barack Obama as ambassador Organization of American States. She worked with scholars at DePaul to publish "In Modern Bondage: Sex Trafficking in the Americas." She now runs a successful consultancy.

Millions of incarcerated citizens re-enter society without knowing their civil rights. Thanks in part to Associate Professor of Political Science Christina Rivers, Illinois passed the Re-Entering Citizens Civics Education Act the provides in-person, peer-lead civics and voting rights education to incarcerated community members. This education can be delivered through DePaul's Inside-Out Program of education in prison.
