Going beyond more traditional macro-level archaeological excavation methods, this project proposes that soil samples collected from carefully-selected stratigraphic contexts throughout the presumed domestic areas of Khirbat Safra, when run through floatation tanks, under controlled conditions, should provide archaeobotanical evidence for which laboratory analysis will likely yield added insight into the micro-level activities of daily life of the ancient people at the site.

This study examines the influence of ASD-specific training or professional development, peer observations, feedback from consultation/collaboration and teacher attitudes on general education teacher’s self-efficacy beliefs for educating students with ASD, as well as whether knowledge mediates the effect of professional development on teacher self-efficacy. It is hypothesized that the proposed theoretical model of teacher self-efficacy for educating students with ASD will fit an empirical model based on collected data. Data from 536 participants have been collected and are being analyzed. Preliminary results suggest that the hypothesized model does not fit the empirical model. This exploratory study examined psychological wellness and resilience as predictors of conspiracist beliefs, disaster response beliefs, and disaster misconceptions beliefs. Data was collected from 300 participants through Amazon’s MTurk. The 2017-18 Global Church Member Survey conducted by the General Conference of the Seventh-day Adventist Church is designed to assess the quinquennial Church Strategic Plan (2015-2020). In the United States, it wasn’t until 1871 that the first state (Alabama) rescinded the “husbandly” right to physically punish their wives. This paper explores the impact of nationally held public debt and foreign debt on the US economy. It has tried to define the nationally held public debt as an additional asset for the private sector by insuring a source of future saving, an increase in investment capacity and a source of increase in demand. A linear regression analysis of 39 observations from 1970 to 2014, using different lengths of lag, from one to five years have shown that for the first year, nationally held public debt has a positive and statistically significant impact on economic growth. Research has shown that compassion fatigue is associated with burnout and compassion satisfaction. Practically no studies have examined how resilience may impact these variables. This study examined how resilience is related to compassion fatigue, burnout, and compassion satisfaction among a convenience sample of disaster behavioral health and emergency preparedness responders (N = 139) attending a training conference in Michigan. Measures included the 30-item Professional Quality of Life Scale, the 14-item Resilience Scale, and a demographic questionnaire. Seventy-two percent of the participants were at risk for compassion fatigue, while 19% were at risk for burnout. Only 22% of participants had …

This poster will explore how these “dispositions” might be understood in Adventist Theological Education. The first iteration of ACRL Standards for Information Literacy was largely instrumental and most instruction was focused on using technology. Of the 1.2 million individuals living with HIV, African Americans continue to be the most adversely impacted population in the U.S. (CDC, 2015). While there has been a decrease over time in new HIV infections among this population, statistics indicate that in 2012, African Americans accounted for almost half of those living with HIV (47%) in the U.S. (CDC, 2015).
