Graduate student enrollment is increasing and academic librarians must support this diverse group. How do grad students approach research? What are their stumbling blocks? What do they need from us in order to succeed? We spoke to graduate students in the social sciences and have uncovered the answers to these questions. Participants will explore Encyclomedia and Thinkfinity for lesson plan ideas, media-rich resources, and standards-based content as well as other online resources that may assist educators with creative planning for their classrooms. Participants will be encouraged to share their favorite websites. Presenters will also demonstrate the use of iMovie to customize short video clips for classroom use. Attendees are highly encouraged to bring a flash drive.
