My senior capstone project aims to spread awareness about the Fairview Training Center, located outside of Salem, Oregon. My project also strives to provide the public and local community with stories from former patients, seeking to educate the public about the events that took place at the institution. Through this capstone project, background information is provided, and the voices of the survivors can also be heard by the audience.

During the process I conducted research on NFT’s, music licensing, website construction, logo design, and made-to-order merchandise. I am excited about what I have learned in this project and I can’t wait to share it with you.
Junky To Healthy, Ashley V. Stegall
Junky To Healthy, Ashley V. Stegall
IPS/BAS 495 Undergraduate Capstone Projects
Eating healthy is not always easy. In fact it can be quite challenging especially if you think you are alone. A support group is a great way to feel like you are not alone. This is not your average support group. Since I am a little rough around the edges, you could say the support group is too. It does have structure because I want it to succeed but people can yell, scream, cuss and throw squishy balls at the wall.

These documents are a key selling tool for the program benefits but in their current format, they are lacking in up-to-date information and contain spelling and grammatical errors. The capstone focuses on the work completed by the stakeholders that are the most affected by the success of these documents.

Weed Infestation: A Service Learning Capstone Project, Catherine T. Clemens
IPS/BAS 495 Undergraduate Capstone Projects
Infestation of weeds can be most upsetting to anyone who finds themselves dealing with them. Whether they are in your garden, lawn, or you pass by them thinking they are a pretty flower, weeds definitely make their appearance in most places. For ranchers, weeds can take a huge toll on them and their operation. Since I live on a ranch it was only fit for me to create a project that would not only benefit myself and other ranchers in the Harney County community. My project was about the importance of weed control. It is a huge part of ranching …

Internal College Of Engineering Expense Distribution Report Instructions, Angela Engebritson
IPS/BAS 495 Undergraduate Capstone Projects
When creating an instructional document, you will end up with a detailed record that outlines a step-by-step process resulting from all the of your trials and knowledge you experienced during that undertaking. I found that I learned more about myself during this process than I did about the results of activity itself. I will no longer look at training resources the same. This simple document, which could range between one page to hundreds of pages is the result of someone’s experiences. What the document doesn’t tell you is that someone most likely spent hours of research, hundreds of actions, or …
Minimizing Errors In Information Technology, Cameron N. Secaur
Minimizing Errors In Information Technology, Cameron N. Secaur
IPS/BAS 495 Undergraduate Capstone Projects
Our team had not been given structure as to how issues were to be addressed and resolved. The leadership was under the impression that verbally communicating what they wanted for their standards would be sufficient. However, this allowed for more mistakes than was acceptable. Faced with many different issues from user provision, to user termination to basic issues with many different programs; I had to find a solution that would help alleviate the excess of mistakes. The creation of documentation that would provide a stable infrastructure and policy to follow for technicians appeared to be a great way to resolve …

Being a student athlete myself, I found this project would not only benefit me but would benefit my current teammates. This video presentation addresses the declining feeling of safety by frontline clinical staff due to the recent escalation of combative patients and workplace violence in the healthcare setting, identified through Emotional intelligence and the approach created to address it. This project was crafted as an innovative and creative approach to addressing the issue in the clinical setting without adding additional staff or additional expense to the organization. Reversing The Aging Of The Skilled Trades Workers, Adam C. King
IPS/BAS 495 Undergraduate Capstone Projects
For the past several decades there has been a prevalence of promoting the need for everyone to obtain at least a bachelor's degree to be able to have a successful career. This had led to a lack of interest of the younger generations in entering the skilled trades as a career. The result of this is that the average age of workers in the trades keeps increasing and as the boomer generation has retired there are not enough capable replacements entering the workforce. Having enough workers in the skilled trades is imperative to keeping the country moving forward by building …

This MDS Capstone Project’s purpose is to bring forth knowledge, various resources, and different perspectives to help reduce employee injuries at Bettencourt & Crossbred Dairies. The conclusion from my research was a need to increase safety awareness across all departments and provide educational information for accident prevention. Along with this information, there was a …

Leading From The Back Of The Pack, Cali A. Rasmussen
IPS/BAS 495 Undergraduate Capstone Projects
Can a project be considered a success even if you do not necessarily meet the goals you had originally established for the project? The beginning of any project is filled with optimism and excitement for the possibilities of the future and the potential outcome. Through the course of the past 13 weeks I saw success, but not necessarily in the quantifiable areas in which I had thought I would be successful. However, the impact of this project will be felt hopefully for years to come and for myself, the lessons learned will certainly stay with me as I prepare for …

The interpreters get into the field not realizing that to succeed they also need an entrepreneurial spirit. These entrepreneurial linguists are classified as independent contractors, as such they are responsible for the business aspects of their livelihood. This includes marketing themselves in order to grow their client base. Marketing can be a daunting task in itself. In speaking with …
Feminine Hygiene Kits For Girls/Women Worldwide, Deseret Lauree Lazarte
Feminine Hygiene Kits For Girls/Women Worldwide, Deseret Lauree Lazarte
IPS/BAS 495 Undergraduate Capstone Projects
Through research and personal experience I found that there is a disparity for girls and women throughout the world when it comes to a natural occurrence for females, called menstruation. For the sake of brevity, I will use the general term “girls” though I mean to include women, also. In many countries girls don’t understand this monthly feminine process and don’t have the proper equipment to use. In many countries girls are taught wives’ tales on why women menstruate. Because of this they perpetuate the falsehoods to their girls and this leads to insecurities and shame. They also do not …
