Agricultural Experiment Station Rural Sociology Pamphlets (1940-1977)
The field work for this study was made possible through the cooperation of the State and Federal Work Projects Administration with the South Dakota Agricultural Experiment Station. The project was officially designated as W.P.A. Project No·. 665-74-3-143. The specific information contained in this study was obtained in the following manner. Current farmer operator lists were made up for each township in the county, and then sent respectively to the ministers serving each township area. The lists contained blank column space so that information could be filled in from the pastor’s records as to what was the denominational preference, membership, and …
