Social service organizations face complex challenges in delivering quality care to their clients. In meeting these challenges, organizational culture, leadership style, and agency policies are crucial. Trauma-informed care is an approach to human service that acknowledges the prevalence of trauma and widespread effects of trauma on service users, providers, and organizations. The tenets of trauma-informed care include trauma awareness, safety, trustworthiness, choice, collaboration, a strengths-based approach, and respect for culture and gender. This study is a comparative analysis of servant leadership, trauma-informed workplace climate, and employee factors of compassion satisfaction and compassion fatigue.
