The study is perceived to find the research performance of Jordanian Institutes during the last five years in scopus database. Jordan has produced a total of 14722 research articles published in national and international journals during 2015 to 2019 with a continuous gradual increase both in publications as well as in citations. The public and older universities have performed better as compared to the private and newly established universities. This study attempts to overview the awareness and use of citations databases by researches and faculty members of MIT, MAHE, Manipal. The survey reveals that most of the research scholars are aware of the citation databases and largely use them for their research work and to update subject knowledge. Many of the respondents use the citation databases to select good journals for publishing their papers and to prepare the exhaustive bibliography at the end of their work easily.
