This study was organized to assess and have records about the information literacy and computer literacy skills among the students at the University of Jammu. To collect the data, a questionnaire was framed and distributed among 265 students studying at the University of Jammu. Out of 265 students, 243 questionnaires were received with responses being filed in them. Of the 243 students, there were 159 males and 84 females. Aim: The goal of this study is to measure the level of information literacy among students at Lahore Leads University.

Approach/ Design /Methodology: A survey method was employed to acquire pertinent data from the community. The participants were current Lahore Leads University students who represented the conditions and environment on the Lahore Leads University campus. A study was undertaken to examine undergraduate students’ skills in Information literacy among undergraduate students at Mzumbe University. The objective of this study was to investigate the information literacy levels among undergraduate students. The study used a mixed method approach design using cross-sectional and case study. The study distributed 210 questionnaires to undergraduate students using stratified sampling followed by systematic random sampling to select individual students in year 1, 2 and 3 from faculty of law, faculty of social sciences and faculty of science and technology.

Purpose

The goal of this paper is to examine the literature published on information literacy (IL) between 2017 and 2021 and reveal the most important trends in IL publication.

Design/methodology/approach

Scopus database was used to analyze specific aspects of publishing trends by looking at the literature indexed from 2017 to 2021 in the field of IL.

Findings

The study adopted a survey research design and a total population of 154 which cut across six states in the Southwest geopolitical zone with five federal polytechnic. This study aimed to investigate the perceived level of IL skills, strength, weakness, challenges, and levels of IL programs attended by ILS students of two leading library schools of Pakistan. This research used descriptive survey method and distributed questionnaire among 330 participants which returned 232 complete usable responses. This study found that participants of both LIS schools perceived good level of IL skills while the majority of them prefer internet sources as they possess adequate internet surfing skills.
