The Effects Of Task Properties And Cognitive Strategy On Performance : Application To A Personnel Selection Task In Government Organization Context, Do Suk Lee

This research attempts to increase understanding of how judgmental performance in a personnel evaluation task is influenced by task properties and cognitive strategy. The study relies on Cognitive Continuum Theory (CCT) which is based on Social Judgment Theory (SJT). CCT argues that performance is a function of correspondence between cognitive strategies and task properties.
