The purpose of this project was to explore parental self-efficacy among parents of children with autism receiving home-based Applied Behavioral Analysis (A.B.A.) treatment. Applied Behavioral Analysis (A.B.A.) is defined as the use of information acquired through the science of observable behavior analysis to facilitate the improvement of behaviors that are socially important. Twenty-one mothers and eight fathers of children with autism receiving home- based (A.B.A.) treatment services from a southern California non-public agency participated in this project.
