The success of sports institutions depends on the extent of achieving outstanding sports results not only at the local level but on all regional and international levels. The main aim of this study is analyzing the reasons hindering the democratic transition in Pakistan. This is due to the continuity of the military rule for such a long time with small periods of democracy. The study found that the electoral system negatively affects the Democratic Transition process in Pakistan. Accordingly; the paper has been divided into theoretical introduction that is tackling the electoral systems in general then, analytically studying the Pakistan system as a case study with an evaluating conclusion about the main challenges and the best scenarios for Pakistan.
