Self-esteem has been classically defined as “the person’s evaluation about self that expresses an attitude of approval or disapproval and indicates the extent to which the individual believes him or herself to be capable, significant, successful and worthy. One’s level of self-esteem influences the choices of life and life choices determine the behaviors and actions we engage in.
