Purpose: to develop a methodology aimed at improving the biomechanical mobility of discus throwers in special strength training and to determine the effectiveness in pedagogical practice.

Methods: The methods of analysis of scientific and methodological literature, pedagogical observation, anthropometric method, determination of the angle of flight of the disk, pedagogical experiment, pedagogical testing, mathematical statistics were used. (On FREMGE, G-VOLK equipment).

Results: The parameters of the movement of a student athlete in discus throwing were studied and methods of biomechanical analysis were developed.

We reflect on our process of working with an adapted framework as an effective strategy for analyzing and interpreting the results of our qualitative study on the lived experiences of insulin pump trainers. Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis (IPA) was applied as the overarching research methodology and was encapsulated into a framework adapted from Bonello and Meehan (2019) and from Chong (2019). Growing empirical evidence documents the potential risk of extreme heat exposure to pregnant individuals. These risks include adverse birth outcomes, such as preterm birth and low birth weight. Climate change will exacerbate extreme heat exposures to a large portion of the global population, and pregnant individuals need to understand the risks and protective measures needed. Therapy dogs are used in a variety of settings, including prisons, hospitals, and schools, for the purposes of providing emotional and psychological support to humans. They are trained to be well behaved and to be perceived as supportive of humans. This study sought to explore the benefits to the human individuals who facilitate trained therapy sessions. Specifically considered were the ways in which therapy dog ownership is a form of serious leisure and the ways in which that leisure influences owners’ day- to- day lives.
