TITLE: Designing a Poster-to-Publication Campaign for Medical Residents
OBJECTIVE: To describe the development of a campaign to improve medical residents’ knowledge of the research and publication process while providing support in transforming poster presentations into peer-reviewed publications.
METHODS: Medical residents at a public research university complete poster presentation projects as part of the standard residency curriculum, but few go on to expand upon and publish this research in academic journals. This paper describes the development of a campaign intended to support residents as they expand poster research projects into publishable articles.
