Objective: The aim is to construct an institutional repository (IR) focused on a health science campus that encompasses intellectual output of the faculty and students while preserving campus work and promoting open access.

Methods: The Digital Commons Institutional Repository software/platform has enabled us to create and continuously build digital collections. Several librarians on our team are responsible for different collections in the IR. The digital collections include journals, faculty/student publications, poster presentations, data sets, campus artwork, and other campus-related materials. Objective: To build a database of campus art to help preserve campus history and to create a record of where items are currently located (or when they were last seen). Methods: Using our campus’s instance of BePress Institutional Repository, I built an online collection of images of artwork housed on campus, mostly portraits of historical faculty members. Historical information is gathered about each individual, or the piece of art, and then added to the database. Statistics on usage are gathered and new pieces to add are being identified monthly. The goal of this study is to know the status of the documents that VNMKV University library has uploaded to the ICAR's Krishikosh repository. According to the statistics, VNMKV University library uploaded the most thesis materials for M. Sc. (80.34 %) degree course related thesis documents followed by Ph.D. (9.68 %) and M. Tech. (3.36% ) degree courses respectively. Thesis-type documents were discovered to be the most prevalent (99.01%), followed by Other Publications (0.60%.) and Reports (0.38 %) . In 2020, the institutional repository manager who also had responsibilities over the social media accounts for the library, decided to attempt a year-long experiment titled #ThesisTuesday, a weekly social media campaign to promote ETDs and connect with campus stakeholders, researchers, and readers. At the time, the library had two social media student assistants who were tasked with sourcing images for the 52 chosen ETDs completed during 2020. Parkview Hospital has a long history and with an accumulation of documents and photographs. These historic materials (digital and physical) reside between three Parkview departments: Marketing, Media Services, and the Resource Library. The Institutional Repository (KNUSTSpace) of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) plays an essential role in meeting the information needs of scholars by providing free, instant, and endless online access to the full content of scholarly resources. The study investigated users’ cognisance, access and usage effectiveness of electronic academic resources in KNUSTSpace to determine how it has satisfied the information needs of users. Milner Library and the Graduate School at Illinois State University have collaborated on a variety of initiatives in recent years, such as presenting workshops for graduate students and providing guidance for formatting theses and dissertations. This presentation will highlight one of these collaborations: the inclusion of student presentation materials from the annual University Research Symposium into ISU ReD, the University's institutional repository. The presentation will cover the communication and workflow process between the library and the Graduate School, as well as observations and recommendations for those who may want to pursue a similar initiative on their own campus.

The study has investigated the users’ opinion towards the use of ICT in the College Libraries of Assam. The questionnaires were distributed to 983 library users of 51-degree college libraries in Assam, out of which total 677 questionnaires have received. The data obtained from the filled up questionnaires is classified, analyzed, tabulated and logically interpreted.The opinion of the users on the use of ICT in college libraries is found satisfactory. This study was designed to determine the effect of gender on submission and retrieval of research output in IRs by lecturers in private universities in Southern Nigeria. A survey design was employed in the study. A list of lecturers in the two faculties of the two universities was obtained from which 150 lecturers were randomly selected. A self-designed questionnaire was used to collect data from the 150 lecturers out of which 100 were returned.
