Information literacy is the ability of an individual to locate, evaluate, and use information. This study expresses the conscious information needs and information literacy skills amongst final year undergraduate students of three Universities in Nigeria; being the Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Federal University Lokoja (FUL), and Baze University. A survey research design alongside a questionnaire for the instrument were utilised on a sample size of 307 final year undergraduate students from select faculties within the above-mentioned universities. The study aims at investigating the awareness and usage of electronic resources among undergraduates of Fountain University, Osun State, Nigeria. Three research questions were answered and three null hypotheses were tested at 0.05 level of significance. Descriptive survey design was adopted for the study and systematic sampling technique was used to select 1000 undergraduates. Simple percentage and frequency table was used to analyse the research questions, while Pearson Product Moment Correlation Coefficient (PPMCC) was used for testing the hypotheses. The use of information resources and services provided in the Library is paramount to undergraduates’ educational activities. However, low use of information resources and services have been presumed among undergraduates hence the study examined the use of information resources and services among undergraduates in Ibadan Library School. The study population consisted of 144 undergraduates in the Ibadan Library School. Total enumeration was used. Questionnaire and interview guide were used for data collection and the data was analysed using descriptive statistics. The purpose of the study was to examine the influence of academic disciplines on the use of library-based online resources for learning activities by undergraduates in the University of Ibadan.

The paper adopted the quantitative research method. Stratified random sampling technique was adopted in selecting the undergraduate students from each faculty and department with the sampling fraction of 2.5%. The sample size for the study is 303 undergraduates of University of Ibadan. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the hospitality students’ perception of library service quality provided by the institute using a well-known measurement model LibQUAL. A structured questionnaire with 22 items on three dimensions of LibQUAL was distributed to undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) students using Google forms. The mean differences between the UG and PG were analyzed using independent sample t-test. The findings suggest that there is a significant difference in the mean perception of undergraduate and postgraduate students about the library services provided by the institute. Traditional research tools used by libraries, such as encyclopedias and catalogs were created in an age of print and information scarcity. They have not kept up with changes in the information world, including an abundance of online information in different formats and the rise of interdisciplinary topics which attempt to solve ‘real world’ messy problems and not traditional theoretical questions. The traditional tools rest on collaboration between OCLC, LOC, private aggregators, librarians and faculty.
