For a journalist, there are only a few things that can land you a job. One of those things is having a professional portfolio. That’s why the Journalism Department has its students complete a professional portfolio as part of their Honors program. The Honors Program takes work students have already completed, then asks them to revise it, or even do it again. That way, when we leave the program, we’re ready to start sending out portfolios and resumés to potential employers.
