A Bibliometric Analysis Of Research Trends Of Inter Linkages Between Disaster Management And Law, Shashikala Gurpur Dr, Manika Kamthan Dr, Vartika Tiwari Ms.

Library Philosophy and Practice (e-journal)

This study is the bibliometric analysis of research publications that focus on highlighting the inter linkages between disaster management and laws. The main objectives of the study are to determine the frequency of such publications and also to establish that inter linkages between disaster management and law have not received enough attention from the researchers. The data was collected from the Scopus database using VOSviewer software. Literatures written from 2000 to 2020 were perused. The study consisted of a total of 1649 documents which are classified into articles, letters, editorials conference papers, and reviews. Data collected is analyzed and presented …

Off-Grid Solar Energy Systems Adoption Or Usage - A Bibliometric Study Using The Bibliometrix R Tool, Amartya Ghosh, Dr. V. K. Satya Prasad May 2021

Off-Grid Solar Energy Systems Adoption Or Usage - A Bibliometric Study Using The Bibliometrix R Tool, Amartya Ghosh, Dr. V. K. Satya Prasad

Library Philosophy and Practice (e-journal)

Over the years, off-grid solar energy system usage has gained traction around the world - primarily due to the environmental benefits offered, and also facilitating decentralized generation and consumption of electricity in the remote-most pockets. Subsequently, the research on the variety of solar-powered off-grid system applications has attracted much attention and has led to an expansion in the literature. Through a bibliometric analysis, this study aims to identify the most influential research done by academic stakeholders who have contributed in the field of solar off-grid system adoption or usage. To achieve the objectives of the study, peer-reviewed journal articles indexed …

Iso 14000 Publication: A Bibliometric Analysis (2011-2020), Ilham M.Said

Library Philosophy and Practice (e-journal)

This study explain about ISO 14000 itself is an international standard that discusses environmental management systems in general. This study aims to visually map publications in the field of ISO 14000 at the global level indexed by Scopus using Bibliometric analysis. This research utilizes the analysis features on the Scopus website and visualizes the bibliometric network using VOSviewer. The research data used is to use indicators in the form of keywords related to ISO 14000 in the Scopus database with the results obtained as many as 136 academic documents that have been published from 2011 to 2020 at the global …

United States National Park Service: Publications

Executive Summary

Fish communities are an important component of aquatic systems and are good bioindicators of ecosystem health. Land use changes in the Midwest have caused sedimentation, erosion, and nutrient loading that degrades and fragments habitat and impairs water quality. Because most small wadeable streams in the Heartland Inventory and Monitoring Network (HTLN) have a relatively small area of their watersheds located within park boundaries, these streams are at risk of degradation due to adjacent land use practices and other anthropogenic disturbances. Shifts in the physical and chemical properties of aquatic systems have a dramatic effect on the biotic community. …

Executive Summary

Changing climate and introduced species are placing an increasing number of species at risk of extinction. Increasing extinction risk is increasing calls to protect species by relocating, or translocating, them to locations with more favorable biotic or climatic conditions. Managed relocation, or assisted migration, of species entails risks to both the conservation target organisms being moved as well as the recipient ecosystems into which they are moved.

Recognizing this risk, calls have been made for practitioners interested in considering a managed relocation project to engage in a serious risk assessment prior to advancing a project. We engaged a …

Executive Summary

The Heartland Inventory and Monitoring Network (HTLN) is a component of the National Park Service’s (NPS) strategy to improve park management through greater reliance on scientific information. The purposes of this program are to design and implement long-term ecological monitoring and provide information for park managers to evaluate the integrity of park ecosystems and better understand ecosystem processes. Concerns over declining surface water quality have led to the development of various monitoring approaches to assess stream water quality. Freshwater streams in network parks are threatened by numerous stressors, most of which originate outside park boundaries. Stream condition and …
