Christian higher education in the United States is experiencing frequent transformational organizational change that is impacting faculty. Researchers have asserted that frequent, second-order organizational change correlates with interpersonal conflict, and conflict is associated with counterproductive work behaviors (CWBs). These associations between change, conflict, and negative work behavior are important to understand as faculty actions could significantly impact change efforts. Influence Of Leadership Style On Conflict Management In Private University Libraries In South West And South-South, Nigeria, Susan Udoaku Ogbuiyi

The study investigated the influence of leadership style on conflict management in private university libraries in South-West and South-South Nigeria. The study employed the descriptive research design. Total enumeration was adopted because of few numbers of librarians in private and structured questionnaire were used to collect data. The instrument was validated using Cronbach’s Alpha. Data analysis involved both descriptive and inferential statistics such as percentage distributions, mean and standard deviation as well as regression analysis. Mental health issues present challenges to the mentally ill, and to the family members who are their caregivers. Among the challenges faced by caregivers are conflict and stress. This transcendental phenomenological study explored the experiences and perceptions of caregivers of conflict, stress, and the role of faith. In addition, this study sought to learn what lessons and strategies caregivers utilized and often created while caring for their family member with bipolar disorder. Journal of Communication Pedagogy
Students who enroll in communication courses to improve their conflict management abilities should be provided with both an understanding of, and skills pertaining to, interpersonal conflict across diverse contexts. In this article, we offer pedagogical guidance for teaching the Interpersonal Conflict course. With an emphasis on building communication skills usable in a variety of real-life situations and settings, this article includes discussion of necessary foundational concepts and applied content areas, sample application assignments, and relevant considerations for those teaching the course.
