Since the outbreak of COVID-19 in December 2019, substantial attention has been devoted to combating the infodemic that has come to characterize it with the potential to prevent its effective containment. This is undoubtedly a very difficult task, especially in Nigerian rural communities that are characterized by severe lack of the requisite facilities to access information on modern media platforms, compounded by high illiteracy and poverty rates. Stunting, the inability to reach one's full potential, still remains common in Indonesia. As a result of stunting’s intergenerational consequences, many strategies have been conducted by both government and non-government organizations to tackle this issue, including nutrition-specific and sensitive interventions, with Integrated Health Service Post (Posyandu) revitalization as one of the key measures to provide valid, reliable, and up-to-date data to establish the early detection and management of stunting. Fake news is increasingly present on the internet and on social media, and youths, who mainly follow the news on these platforms, are at risk of being misinformed and deceived. This study aims to serve as an important knowledge base about adolescents’ definitions of, experiences with, and opinions about fake news on the internet. Indonesian government, like the rest of the global community, promptly responded to the soaring transmission rate by launching an app to cater the Indonesians’ need for information. This research is an audience reception study of hoax information on social media during the 2019 Presidential Election campaign in the post-truth era. This research uses a qualitative method with a reception study approach and various theories of active audiences such as the encoding-decoding model from Stuart Hall, which was also elaborated by David Morley and Ien Ang. The result shows that there are three typologies in receiving hoax. Those are the pragmatic-creative, ideological, and critical-skeptical type of audiences. This article is based on the artistic practice of two Papuan choreographers trained in the Jakarta Institute of the Arts Dance Study Program. Both based their choreographies on their traditional roots which were presented as site specific performances in their respective villages. The choice of visuals and dramatic bodily expressions created by them, though a new dance design, was based on their deeply ingrained roots as indigenous Papuans. In Indonesia, the post-truth phenomenon is usually seen more often as a literacy or legal problem. In fact, when understood as new forms of political dishonesty, post-truth must be seen as an ethical problem.
