This study explores the current Thai political conflict which began in 2005 and continues in 2011. This conflict is different from the nation’s past political conflicts, which were conflicts between people and the government. On the contrary, the current conflict is a conflict between Thais who share different political ideologies. Many scholars have explained causes and effects of the conflict on Thai society.
