The official race program for the Saturday, September 3, 1938, South Kennebec Fair held at the Windsor Fairgrounds. The South Kennebec Fair originated with the South Kennebec Agricultural Association in 1888. The association included the towns of Chelsea, Windsor, Pittston, and Whitefield. The half-mile track was built that same year at South Windsor Counter.
