Index of Texas Archaeology: Open Access Gray Literature from the Lone Star State

The Center for Archaeological Research (CAR) of the University of Texas at San Antonio conducted National Register of Historic Places eligibility testing at archeological site 41BX1749 located in southwest Bexar County, Texas. The work was completed under a contract with the HNTB Corporation (contracted by TxDOT) as part of the proposed Loop 410 Southwest Improvement Project, San Antonio, Bexar County, Texas. Testing of the site included mechanical auger boring, backhoe trenching and three 1-x-1 meter test units. The archeological work was conducted under Texas Antiquities Committee permit #4679 with Jennifer L. Thompson serving as Principal Investigator. Testing concluded that 41BX1749 …
