Fred and Harriet Cox Senior Design Competition Projects
Part of every UNLV engineering student’s academic experience, the senior design project stimulates engineering innovation and entrepreneurship. Each student in their senior year chooses, plans, designs, and prototypes a product in this required element of the curriculum. A capstone to the student’s educational career, the senior design project encourages the student to use everything learned in the engineering program to create a practical, real world solution to an engineering challenge. The senior design competition helps focus the senior students in increasing the quality and potential for commercial application for their design projects. This file contains the set of APIs for small unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) Traffic Management (sUTM). The sUTM server hosts a web service that allows any software or device that can use the Internet to utilize the server’s sUAS traffic management (sUTM) functions through these application programming interfaces (API). This library was developed as part of the MS thesis by Monetta Shaw in Spring 2016, "A web based solution for small unmanned aircraft systems (sUAS) traffic management". The summary of the library and its usage instructions are described in the thesis.
