This paper reports on a study that investigated the effects of a public school system's one-day adventure experience on students' self reports of life effectiveness. According to Neill, Marsh & Richards (1997), life effectiveness is defined as, "the psychological and behavioral aspects of human functioning which determine a person's effectiveness or proficiency in any given situation".
