Context: Computer Science enrollment has seen increases in recent years. At the University of Nevada, Las Vegas we have seen an average year to year growth rate of 17.33% in the spring and 13.71% in the fall over the past 10 years in our entry level programming course. These enrollment increases have led to considerable additional costs for grading course material.Objective: The goal of this study is to determine the impact of automatic grading systems on students.
