Rosa x hybrida (rose) is very popular, is a very valuable crop, and requires a great deal of moisture, nutrients, and disease/pest controls. To conserve water resources, the use of surfactants may be an effective method of wetting the growing media. In this study, four varieties of ornamental roses ‘All American Magic’ ™, ‘Passionate Kisses’, ‘Eyeconic’® Lychee Lemonade, and ‘Red Drift’® were evaluated for the use of surfactants to enhance post-harvest plant quality.
