Aes Multi_Layer Structural Analysis Of Si Based Anodic Porous Alumina Films And Studies On Its Formation Mechanism, Junhui Wu, Jianping Zou, Qing Zhu, Ximao Bao

Journal of Electrochemistry

nm aluminum films were deposited onto a p_type,0.5 Ω·cm, 〈100〉 oriented silicon wafers using electron beam evaporation technique. Then, the wafers was immersed in 15 wt% H 2SO 4 for porous_type over_anodization under a constant voltage of DC 60V.During the anodization, the temperature of the electrolyte was maintained at 0 ℃.The obtained samples were investigated by means of transmission electron microscopy, scanning electron microscopy, and AES depth profile for multi_layer structural information. In addition, the basic anodic formation mechanism of the Si_based aluminum films was brielfly discussed.

Corrosion Characteristics Of Electrodeposited Ni Mo P Alloy Immersed In Nacl Solution, Yue Zeng, Hongxin Huang, Xiaoming Xiao, Shixun Lian

Journal of Electrochemistry

The corrosion characteristics of electrodeposited Ni Mo P alloy immersed in 5wt.% NaCl solution were investigated using immersion, anodic polarization curves, XPS and AES analysis. The corrosion rates of amorphous Ni Mo P alloys are lower than that of crystalline Ni Mo P alloys. Anodic polarization curve experiments show that for the electrodeposited Ni Mo P alloys, the nickel mol fraction of which has in between 0.719 and 0.868, the corrosion potential moves to positive with the increase of P content, and the peak current value of active region increase with the increase of Mo content in alloys, though the …

Studies Of The Black Molybdate Conversion Film On Stainless Steel, Jingli Fang, Liuqin Liuqin, Keping Han, Yaohui Chen

Journal of Electrochemistry

A black conversion film was formed on stainless steel with cathodicelectrodeposition method from a molybdate-phosphate solution. This film displayed goodthemcotability. The results of XPS and AES analysis showed that the thickness of the film was 820 nmand that Mo existed as Mo(Ⅵ)in the surface of the film, while existed as Mo(Ⅵ)and Mo(Ⅳ)in theinternal layer of the film. The relative atomic percent content(A,C.% of the film obtained from theelemental composition constant region of the depth profile curves by AES was O 50.9%,Mo 29.4%,P12.6%and Fe 7.1%respectively.The cyclevoltammetric oxluation peak also showed that Mo(Ⅳ)existed in the internal layer of the film.
