The Open Prototype for Educational NanoSats (OPEN) is a system that focuses on reducing spacecraft mission costs. It provides a set of designs that is freely available to anyone online. The OpenOrbiter CubeSat provides designs to create a small satellite using economical materials available allowing a parts budget of under $5,000. One aspect of this design is CubeSat payload processing software. This is the process of taking a single image, or multiple images taken at the same time, and manipulate them.
