Electrochemical Detection Of 4-Nitrophenol Based On Glassy Carbon Electrode Modified By Tio2Nps/Rgo Composite, Lin-Na Jiu, Yong-Qiang Cheng

4-nitrophenol (4-NP) has become factitious pollution, and presented a serious threat to the nature and human health. It is necessary to develop a convenient and fast detection method. In this work, the glassy carbon electrode modified by titanium dioxide nanoparticles (TiO2NPs)/reduced graphene oxide (RGO) composite as an electrochemical sensor was studied for the trace detection of 4-NP. The morphology of the composite was characterized by scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The homogeneous mixing of titanium dioxide nanoparticles and reduced graphene oxide increased the specific surface area of the composite, and facilitated the electrochemical reaction of 4-NP. In 0.1mol/L phosphate buffer solution (pH 3.0), the voltammetry behaviors of curcumin at a glassy carbon electrode have been studied.One pair of current peaks of the voltammogram may be attributed to a reversible one-electron transfer of curcumin molecules at the glassy carbon electrode.A new method, the differential pulse voltammetry,for curcumin determination is described. The adsorptive potential of curcumin is (+0.8) V(vs. SCE),while its peak potential of curcumin is +0.386V(vs. SCE).The peak current is proportional to the concentration of curcumin over the rage of 1.0×10~(-8)mol/L ~2.5×10~(-7)mol/L.A detection limit of 4.0×10~(-9)mol/Lof curcumin can be estimated. Determination Of Diclofenac In Voltalin Tablets By Differential Pulse Voltammetry, Gui-Fen Wang, Yuan-Zhe Piao

Diclofenac,dissolved in a base solution of chlorhydric acid,showed a sensitive oxidation peak at 0.91 V(vs.SCE) when the solution was cyclically swept from +0.6 to +1 2 V(vs.SCE) by differential pulse voltammetry at GCE.There was a good linear relationship between the differential pulse peak current and the concentraion of diclofenac in the range from 5.0×10 -7 to 6.0×10 -6 mol/L,and the relative standard deviation is 3.5%(n=10).When determining the content of diclofenac in voltalin tablets, we have got the same results by this method as ultraviolet spectrophotometry.
