Objective: To investigate the differences in the academic productivity of male and female academicians from the departments of pediatric dentistry in the Faculties of Dentistry in Turkey. Methods: A search was made of international studies indexed in PubMed published up until January 2021 by a total of 241 academicians in the Departments of Pediatric Dentistry of 79 Faculties of Dentistry in Turkey. Background: Ectodermal dysplasia is a complex group of genetic disorders identified through the abnormal development of ectodermal structures. It is a genetic disorder that affects the development or functions of tissues such as the teeth, hair, nails, and sweat glands.

Methods: This review aimed to introduce the outcomes and increase awareness of ectodermal dysplasia reviewing by the literature.

Results: The characteristic features of this disease, including hypodontia, hypohidrosis, and hypotrichosis, have been discussed.

Objectives: to evaluate the signal characteristics of Diffusion Weighted Magnetic Resonance Imaging (DWMRI) of maxillofacial intraosseous lesions and their corresponding apparent diffusion coefficient (ADC) values and assess their ability to differentiate between malignant and non-malignant lesions.

Materials and Methods: The current study was done on 14 implants that were alienated randomly into two groups: Group I: treated with tapered implant, Group II: treated with cylindrical implant. Purpose: To evaluate of the volumetric bone change after using liquid phase concentrated growth factor in open sinus lift surgery .Material and methods 12 pneumatized maxillary sinuses in edentulous or partially edentulous patients were divided randomly into 2 equal groups; Group (A), augmented by alloplastic bone graft Biphasic Calcium Phosphate (BCP). Objective: To determine the differences in treatment strategies and material preferences for deep dentine carious lesions (DDCLs) management among general and specialist dentists.

Methods: Dentists working in universities, oral and dental health centers, or private practice were administered a 14-item web-based questionnaire regarding demographic and occupational characteristics, approaches to DDLCs, pulp capping methods, and preferences for restorative materials. The data were examined using descriptive statistical analysis and Pearson’s chi-square tests.

The limitation of residual bone height (RBH) and vital structures such as sinuses in the maxillary often make the implant placement procedure becomes complicated. Clinicians may perform sinus elevation prior to implant placement to accommodate the length of the implant fixture. Sinus elevation is an invasive procedure and complication may occur during the surgery including the most frequent complication is perforation of Schneiderian membrane.

Purpose: The current study was established to evaluate the utilization and determine types of dental services provided to Saudi school children. Materials and Methods: A cross-sectional study was performed at Al Riyadh city, a sample of 5050 Saudi children of both genders with age range 6 - 9 years old was included. Dental caries was recorded according to WHO diagnostic criteria. Decayed, filled and missed teeth due to caries were recorded using dmft index, existing stainless-steel crowns and fissure sealants were recorded.
