The job duties of a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator exist in a great multitude, and require those aspiring to obtain the position to complete training in all areas of focus. The focus of this practicum is to gain exposure to the job duties of a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator, while also gaining experience in a multitude of departments that function within a skilled nursing facility. This practicum was completed amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, and therefore emphasis was placed on infection control and procedures that allow for a safe environment for those residing in this nursing facility.
