Background: Reportedly, there has been a long-standing nursing shortage in Saudi Arabia. This study explored the attitudes of undergraduate student nurses considering them to be a factor contributing to this shortage. This study also investigated the association among gender, hospital exposures, and campus enrollment concerning mental health education.

Methods: Quantitative correlational analysis was used on 124 student nurses in mental health nursing. Using Point Binary, Spearman's rank and one-way ANOVA, significant determinants were correlated to the domains of mental health nursing.

Purpose: The objective of this study was to explore parent and child anxiety during the pandemic. Unlike previous pandemics, measures implemented to prevent the transmission of the SARS-CoV-2 virus have been much more limiting.

Methods: An explanatory convergent mixed-methods design was used to describe anxiety of children 9–17 years of age and their parents during August–October 2020. Adult and child versions of State-Trait Anxiety Inventory (STAI) were used to examine levels as measured on STAI’s state-anxiety subscale. Methods: This cross-sectional study was conducted in three different primary schools in Kuantan by purposive sampling. With consent from their parents/guardians, participants were given a self-administered questionnaire.
