วัตถุประสงค์: ศึกษาผลของการให้บริบาลเภสัชกรรมต่อการควบคุมระดับน้ำตาลในเลือด ผลลัพธ์ทางคลินิกและการลดปัญหาจากการใช้ยาในผู้ป่วยสูงอายุโรคเบาหวานชนิดที่ 2 วิธีการวิจัย: การวิจัยเชิงทดลองแบบสุ่มที่มีกลุ่มควบคุม กลุ่มตัวอย่างคือผู้ป่วยสูงอายุโรคเบาหวานชนิดที่ 2 แบ่งเป็นสองกลุ่มคือกลุ่มศึกษาและกลุ่มควบคุม กลุ่มละ 90 คน โดยจะติดตามและประเมินผู้ป่วยตั้งแต่เข้ารับการรักษาตัวในหอผู้ป่วยใน จนกระทั่งจำหน่ายออกจากโรงพยาบาลและมาติดตามการรักษา ณ แผนกผู้ป่วยนอก เป็นระยะเวลา 3 เดือน ผลลัพธ์ที่ติดตาม ได้แก่ การควบคุมระดับน้ำตาลในเลือด ผลลัพธ์ทางคลินิก สัดส่วนจำนวนคนที่พบปัญหาจากการใช้ยา และจำนวนปัญหาจากการใช้ยา ผลการวิจัย: เมื่อสิ้นสุดการศึกษาพบว่าผู้ป่วยกลุ่มศึกษามีค่าเฉลี่ย FPG ค่าเฉลี่ย HbA1C และค่าเฉลี่ยโลหิตลดลงเมื่อเทียบกับก่อนศึกษาและแตกต่างกับกลุ่มควบคุมอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ แต่ไม่มีผลต่อค่าระดับไขมันในเลือด ส่วนปัญหาการใช้ยาพบความชุกจำนวนคนที่พบปัญหาจากการใช้ยาสูงถึงร้อยละ 95 พบว่ากลุ่มที่ได้รับการบริบาลเภสัชกรรมมีการลดลงของสัดส่วนจำนวนคนที่พบปัญหาจากการใช้ยาและลดจำนวนปัญหาจากการใช้ยาได้อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ เมื่อเปรียบเทียบระหว่างกลุ่มศึกษาและกลุ่มควบคุมและสัดส่วนผู้ป่วยที่มีคะแนนพฤติกรรมการใช้ยามีแนวโน้มที่ดีขึ้นมีความสัมพันธ์กับการอยู่ในกลุ่มศึกษาอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ สรุปผลการวิจัย: จากผลการศึกษาจะเห็นว่าการบริบาลเภสัชกรรมมีส่วนช่วยให้ผู้ป่วยมีผลลัพธ์ทางคลินิกที่ดีขึ้นลดปัญหาจากการใช้ยาในผู้ป่วย และยังช่วยเพิ่มความร่วมมือในการใช้ยาของผู้ป่วยอีกด้วย

Objective:The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effect of Tetrahydrofuran (THF) on shear bond strength (SBS) between resin matrix ceramics (RMC) materials and resin cements.Methods:RMC materials(Enamic,Cerasmart,Shofu block HC) were cut into square piece of approximately 6x6x2 mm3 and randomly divided into 10 groups following the surface treatment:no treatment(C),adhesive agent(Ad),THF1min(T1),silane/adhesive(Si/Ad),THF1min/adhesive(T1/Ad),THF1min/silane/adhesive(T1/Si/Ad),THF2mins/silane/adhesive(T2/Si/Ad),THF3mins/silane/adhesive(T3/Si/Ad),THF4mins/silane/adhesive(T4/Si/Ad),THF5mins/silane/adhesive(T5/Si/Ad).Specimens were cemented to composite resin rod with resin cement and kept them in water at 37oC for 24 hours.The SBS measurements were tested with universal testing machine.Failure modes were examined by stereomicroscope.The SBS values were analyzed with two-way ANOVA and Bonferroni’s post hoc tests (α = 0.05).Results: The highest …

This study aimed to examine the opposing natural tooth wear between polished and annealed monolithic zirconia crownon the dental implantafter 6-month delivery. Seven patients who needed the dental implant treatment were randomized to receive monolithic zirconia crowns (VITA YZ HTWhite, VITA Zahnfabrik, Germany). Total 10 zirconia crowns in 7 patients were included in this study. In Myanmar, lack of study was reported on alcohol consumption, substance use and sexual risk behavior among men who have sex with men (MSM) and current study was conducted to identify patterns of alcohol consumption, substance use and sexual risk behavior among MSM in Yangon and Mandalay, Myanmar. Pyrethroids are commonly used in households and affect to nervous system in children. Data on pyrethroids exposure related to neurotransmitter gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) is unknown. This study investigated the relationship between 3-PBA metabolites and GABA concentrations, and also determined the factors influencing pyrethroids metabolites among young children in urban areas. A repeated cross-sectional design was designed to collect the information on PYR insecticide exposure between wet (November – December 2018) and dry (April – May 2019) seasons. Rang-Jued or Thunbergia laurifolia Lindl. is a species in family Thunbergiaceae. In Thailand, leaf and stem of T. laurifolia are used to treat fever, inflammation, as well as antidotes. Perilla frutescens (L.) Britton or Nga-Kee-Mon belongs to Labiatae family. The leaf of P. frutescens is used to treat allergy, fever and inflammation. Rosmarinic acid is the active compound in both plants which was used as a standard marker in this study. Quantification of rosmarinic acid in the three samples using TLC-densitometry and TLC-image analysis were not statistically significantly different (P > 0.05). There are more than 40 Bauhinia species throughout Thailand. Many pharmacologically active compounds have been reported, particularly flavonoids such as quercetin and its glycoside (quercitrin). This study aimed to characterize 20 Bauhinia species throughout Thailand using microscopic, molecular analysis as well as quercetin and quercitrin quantification. The pharmacognostic specification of B. malabarica leaf which has been used in Thai’s remedies was established. Twenty Bauhinia species leaves were collected from 3 places throughout Thailand.
