Thirteen types of toothbrushes were classified into 4 groups according to the percentage of roundedness and diameter size of bristles. Twentyfive bristles from each of ten, thirteen brand toothbrushes, roundomly selected were evaluated for roundedness under stereomicroscope at 40x magnification by two investigators, while 30 bristles randomly selected from 6 tooth- brushes of each brand were filmed under scanning electron microscope at 35x magnification and measured for sizes of diameters. The findings were at α = 0.05 confident level, the proportion of roundedness ranged from Oral-B, the highest (0.226) to the lowest, Colgate & Bulter Gum (0.004). The credibility between …
