Prevalence Of Antibodies To Various Bovine Viruses In Bulk Tank Milk Samples From Dairy Herds In The Muaglek Area, Suneerat Aiumlamai, Stafan Alenius, Kovit Nithichai

Bulk tank milk (BTM) samples from 160 dairy herds located in Muaglek area were tested for antibodies to Bovine Virus Diarrhoea Virus (BVDV). Of these 160 samples, 153 (95.6%) were negative for antibodies to BVDV. Seven samples (4.4%) had low levels of BVDV antibodies. Therefore, the prevalence of BVDV among the dairy cattle in this area of Thailand can be regarded as low.
