The objective of this study is to determine knowledge, attitude and infection control practice of dentists on AIDS and the care for AIDS/HIV patients. Self-administered questionnaires were mailed to the dentists whom were selected by using simple random simpling technique from the list of dentists in Bangkok. In addition, questionnaires were distributed to the dentists at the meeting in Bangkok. The questionnaires included six parts: dentists's personal data and their training on AIDS; knowledge on AIDS/HIV infection; attitude toward AIDS/HIV infection in general; attitude toward the willingness to serve AIDS/HIV patients; estimation of risk to HIV transmission during dental service; …
