Reynosa urban area has 690,000 inhabitants (384,000 adults >20 years old), 35% moved from other states. The use of cell phones is in 81%, personal computer or laptop with 29%. The prevalence of overweight is 39%, obesity 36%, and T2D 13%. The expected adult population with T2D is 49,900 individuals. The are 5 clinics prepared to attend T2D, and few with specialized personnel.

In Silico Analysis Of C-Met Expression And Its Correlation With Metabolic Network In Head And Neck Cancer, Sibi Raj, Dhruv Kumar

Background: Head and Neck Squamous Cell Carcinoma (HNSCC) is strongly associated with metabolic dysregulations. c-Met activation is important for high glucose induced acquisition of mesenchymal phenotype, survival under high glucose stress in HNSCC cells. Here, we utilise the In silico approach to analyse the c-Met expression in the head and neck cancer data extracted from The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA) database and its strong correlation with genes associated with cancer cell metabolism.
