Background: Ticks, Lyme disease, and other tickborne diseases are a concern of public health entities in Maryland and New York State. Children are at an increased risk of contracting a tickborne disease. Healthcare professionals working in schools (HPWS) are often front-line providers and health educators for school-aged children. The knowledge, attitudes, and practices of HPWS regarding ticks and tickborne disease is currently unknown. While there are educational materials available, uptake and use of these programs is also unknown.

This study explores the role of instructional design in the development of shared epistemic agency (SEA) when RN to BSN nursing students collaborate to complete a team project in an online course. Paavola & Hakkarainen's (2005) trialogical model of learning is used to design a learning activity where teams create a shared knowledge object, a co-authored patient interprofessional care plan to support group knowledge creation. The purpose of this study is to determine the dependability and accuracy of Clinical Performance in Nursing Examination (CPNE®) scores obtained from trained raters. Intraclass correlations were calculated to estimate interrater agreement. Accuracy of scores was determined by identifying percent accuracy for each scored element. Generalizability (G) coefficients were calculated to estimate sources of variance in CPNE scores. The population for the study is adjunct faculty at Excelsior College who agreed to participate in the study and are clinical examiners trained as raters for the CPNE
