Abstract
There are longstanding and growing concerns about the demanding nature of work environments that affect nurses’ health, job satisfaction and provision of quality care. Specifically in healthcare settings, there is the need for leaders to create supportive work environments to avert these negative trends and increase nurse job satisfaction. The purpose of this study was to examine the influence of managers’ resonant leadership and nurses’ structural empowerment on their job satisfaction.
