Background: Cyberbullying is an electronic harassment commonly found in adolescents and affects the wellbeing and mental health of the victims. Objective: The purpose of this study was to estimate the prevalence of cyberbullying among freshman and to investigate the relationship between cyberbullying, psychological well-being, and mental health among freshmen of Chulalongkorn University. Methods: A cross-sectional design enrolled participation of 1,433 freshmen in 19 faculties of Chulalongkorn University. Background: Although the positive impact of spirituality on mental health has become more widely accepted in the past decade, it is a challenging subject due to its distinctive nature between beliefs and cultures. Many mental disorders are expressed in different characteristics, as a result of cultural factors. These conditions, known as culture-bound syndrome, have been studied in the field of psychiatry and social anthropology. Some mental abnormalities are treated as distinctive psychiatric disorders; many others were not yet clinically recognized. Therefore, patients with the conditions should be evaluated and treated in both psychiatric and cultural practices. It should be noted that, cultural specific mental disorders gradually fade in the age of globalization.
