Rehabilitation Practice and Science
The purpose of this study is to determine the changes of the latency, duration , amplitude, and area of CMAP related to different wrist angle. (max flexion, flexion 30° , neutral, extension 30° , max extension) The results revealed there is significant changes in area, duartion & muscle length of flexor carpi radialis (P<0.001), but not in latency & amplitude. And it is increasing trend related to increasing wrist angle. (P<0.001) It is concluded that we must notice the pt's wrist angle when we perform the nerve conducation study.
